Plan acquired. Now to do it.

Something magic happened last Friday, after a little talk to my supervisor I realised my paper I have been doing for the past 6 months could actually be used as part of my PhD. This plus my old honours thesis and location/overweight underweight paper means my thesis has been set and it is now a matter of doing it. So the hardest part, the ideas, has been done. Now to get on with it.

New direction and focus

After starting the ou project and trying to create a new methodology, I realised an important factor was that the performance measure created a zero alpha for the market. Having recondition my performance measure for this I had to step back and reconsider my original findings. This paper should favour the sponsors greatly. After this I can get back on the ou project.
