Meandering for a topic

So for the past week I have been trying to find an alternative topic after brief exchange from the sponsors the week before. My previous thought up topic was general, uninteresting and just 'fishing'. So after a week of sleeping, thinking and internet surfing I went full circle back to my original thesis topic and combined it with my current PhD topic.

Dished out somepoints, consulted with one of my supervisors and now have a more refined research question than what I started with. I can only pray research design will be smooth sailing, but you never know with research!

Pseudo topic made

A couple weeks have passed and have found somewhat of a topic though I am still developing it. Have improved my replication program such that my issue with the index has been resolved. Will proceed to market my topic to my supervisors before proceeding deeper into this paper
